Laser Operator
General Description
The Laser Operator is responsible for expertly operating high performing CNC profiling (laser & punch) cutting equipment to safely produce beautiful metal parts to customer print specifications. These parts are to meet or exceed established quality and productivity standards.
Organizational Relationships and Authority
The Laser Operator reports directly to the Profiling Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities and Purpose
The primary responsibility of the Laser Operator is to produce metal fabricated parts to customer print specifications using a standard process.
Additional tasks include:
o Ensuring material is staged on the loader for automated production plan performance
o Loading materials with fork trucks, cranes, carts and non-standard drop material by hand as required
o Unloading tables by repetitively lifting and placing metal blanks or finished parts into containers (bins, boxes, gongs)
o Ensuring machine optics are maintained by performingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
