Vertical Machining Center Operator
General Description
The VMC Operator at GSMW is charged with the responsibility of safely producing high quality production parts on a CNC vertical machining center and operating this machine at its full potential.
Organizational Relationships and Authority
VMC Operator reports directly to the Production Supervisor. There are no direct reports to this position.
Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the VMC Operator is to safely produce high quality metallic parts on a vertical machining center. The standard for all equipment and tools used at GSMW is that they perform as if they are new. Therefore it is expected that all operators participate in maintaining equipment, tools and their work environment. The VMC Operator will participate to perform to the objectives set for the department as well as:
o Safely execute job responsibilities using proper PPE
o Measuring precisionEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
