Manufacturing Process Engineer

Our client is growing and they need to add another Manufacturing Process Engineer to their staff. They are located near Tomah, WI. It is a growing company which offers personal advancement opportunities. It is a good area to raise a family.

Requirements:
3+ years of work experience as a high-level machine technician or machinist
A bachelor's degree in engineering or specialized training in the precision metal turning industry would be a plus.
Knowledge of various machine tools including: Single spindle and/or multi-spindle screw machines, CNC Swiss type lathes, conventional CNC chuckers and lathes
Programming of equipment is helpful
Blueprint reading, strong understanding of geometric tolerance concepts and knowledge of SPC
Duties:
Obtain and maintain knowledge on all appropriate equipment and processes.
Develop and design fixtures and a variety of tooling such as cutting tools, dies, gages & fixtures for product testing, prototype building or other activities related to the manufacture of precision machined parts.
.Develop layouts and setup methodology for the machine tools
Provide process plans and cycle time estimates for cost estimating for quoting new business.
Provide technical assistance to Sales in communicating information to customers and to enable company to win new business.
Work with Quality personal to develop quality plans for part manufacturing.
Take corrective action using SPC

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
